Dear Jubilants, it is out of an abundance of caution and after much consultation with the board and prayer that we have decided to suspend in-person meetings at least through the July 4, 2020, weekend and reevaluate the situation after then.

During this time, we will livestream the service that will feature myself and the band (Thanks to the band members!). The service will be abbreviated of course, but we’d like to still do our talk-back in some form after the message. I am contemplating either doing a Zoom session where folks can participate directly after the livestream service, or a Facebook live event where you can type in your responses. Please let me know if you have a preference and we’ll strive to make it happen!

Thank you all for your understanding during this time. We want all of our Jubilants to be well and still have a chance to attend Sunday celebrations – even if it’s in a new virtual experience. This has been a huge inconvenience for us all, but I think it also presents us with some new opportunities (like getting our livestream going) and new ways to create community.

Also, if anyone is in need of supplies, a chat or anything else as we self-isolate, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Already, we have those offering to do supply runs for those who feel they shouldn’t leave the house and we have phones and video-chats that we can use to stay in touch. Let’s find new ways to connect and be community during this time.

Of course, this situation makes it a challenge to “pass the basket” but many of you have already stepped up and given online to keep Jubilee going as this crisis continues. Thank you all so much for that. If you want to contribute online, it’s easy. Use this link and thank you in advance.

The livestream will be on YouTube. Subscribe to our channel for immediate access. A Zoom talk back link will be sent and posted soon. Stay tuned!
